01
Movement
A unit may move up to its Move characteristic during its activation, subject to terrain, model placement and Engagement Range restrictions.
02
Charge
A unit can only use Charge if a rule or ability gives it Charge. Unless a rule or ability says otherwise, a Charge move is equal to half that unit’s Move, rounded up. A Charge MUST end in Engagement Range. Charge may occur anywhere in the unit’s activation chain when otherwise legal, including after moving and attacking.
03
Advance
A unit may Advance during its activation. When it Advances, it may move up to its full Move characteristic again. An Advance uses that unit’s Attack Action for the activation. An Advance cannot end in Engagement Range.
04
Leaving Engagement Range
Unless an ability states otherwise, moving out of Engagement Range uses the unit’s Attack Action for the activation.
05
Moving Through Models
Models cannot move through or end their movement overlapping another model, whether friendly or enemy, unless a rule explicitly allows it. Friendly models can therefore block movement if positioned too closely together. Any ability that allows a model to move through other models explicitly overrides this rule.
